As Managing Director and Co-Founder of NOI Capital Partners, Jim Marfuggi builds on 15 years of intensive, multifamily real estate experience. Mr. Marfuggi is known as a "go to" management executive, and his expertise is often sought to tackle underperforming portfolio assets. His track record of overproducing both top- and bottom-line performance in the most challenging of operational situations is well known within the multifamily community.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Marfuggi has direct-managed over $3 billion in real estate assets. He has created over $500 million in performance value-add for both institutional and individual investors.
Mr. Marfuggi was most recently recruited by an "MFE" top-50 owner/manager as Chief Operating Officer. Despite a difficult rental environment occasioned by record home buying, Mr. Marfuggi achieved consecutive, annual 7% FFO growth. Prior to this assignment, Mr. Marfuggi was Vice President of a prestigious, multifamily investment and development firm in New York City. During his first year, he was the driving force to increase top-line revenue by more than 8.5% and add $60 million to the value of the portfolio. Mr. Marfuggi was called upon to consult in their efforts to acquire a $5.4-billion single asset, a transaction that was ultimately the largest in U.S. multifamily history.
