Karen Smith is NOI Capital Partners’ Vice President, Client Development. Ms. Smith combines uncommon communication and listening skills with a broad knowledge of the multifamily industry acquired over long tenure as a licensed sales agent of apartment properties, and is also a licensed Texas real-estate broker.
Prior to joining NOI Capital Partners, Ms. Smith was an investment broker in the Los Angeles offices of Marcus & Millichap, and before that held the same position at Capital Commercial in San Antonio. Her transaction volume exceeded $10 million per year in both positions. Ms. Smith handled all phases of acquisition and disposition of investment real estate: pro forma analysis and pricing, marketing, feasibility, contracts, escrows, and client relations.
Ms. Smith graduated cum laude from the University of Texas, and holds a B.A. in Communications.
